Last week and weekend were extremely busy, and I got barely five hours of sleep each night. My two younger and only brothers graduated, and family members flew and drove in from all across the country. It was fun to have everyone around, but it was also busy. Mother's day was yesterday, and that meant more activities and celebration. You can imagine my shock at how tired I still felt after I crawled into bed at 11pm last night and woke up 10 hours later this morning. I might call it quit early today to take a nap.
Graduations always make me think of new beginnings, and how anything is possible if we set our hearts, faith and action on it. After listening to thousands of graduation speeches...it is hard not to believe that nothing is impossible for those who believe and set out to achieve their dreams and visions.
It is the thought of "Nothing is impossible" that I take with me into this week and the rest of the year. Summer is just around the corner, and when the sun is out, a sense of adventure accompanies its shine and rays. I am excited, and I look forward to shining and growing with you
Beloved, You are Loved Absolutely!
I love graduation speeches too! I leave grad ceremonies more inspired than the graduates lol. New glasses?
ReplyDeleteSame here. I am inspired by graduation speeches...they make me get up and keep moving. Even long graduated oldies like me can learn a lot at graduations. :)
DeleteGlasses is for my brother. My contacts ripped into two at graduation.:( Luckily we have pretty similar prescriptions, and he had his contacts on so I owned his glasses for the day. :)
Congratulations to your brothers. You must be so proud! I have younger brothers too, and I think I will have same look on their face when they graduate. Yes, graduations can be pretty stressful, but it looks like you survived. I hope you've recuperated o!
ReplyDeleteThanks. I am so recuperated and rested. I took me days and hours of sleep.
